Canham Homes Ltd is a division of A B Canham & Son and have been building high quality houses and apartments for the past 45 years in Kent and the surrounding counties.
Canham Homes have established a reputation for providing beautifully designed, high-quality homes in and around Sevenoaks area.
We combine quality and attention to detail with an ethical approach to create beautiful new homes. We are committed to creating new homes that benefit the community and the environment.

MEET THE TEAM
Michael’s knowledge of construction started upon leaving school when he started working with his father. Michael proved himself very quickly and Alan made Michael a director and the business became AB Canham & Son. Alan Canham decided to retire and leave Michael at the helm over 25 years ago.
AB Canham & Son is a thriving house builder and the construction division to Canham Homes Ltd. Michael’s passion for all his businesses, and with over 45 years’ experience along with his commitment to delivery is the reason the company wins awards and has long standing loyal employees.
The Canham Group of companies employs circa 200 members of staff and sub-contractors, that work continually on the ongoing projects Michael secures. In 2010 Canham Homes was formed to seek land opportunities and joint ventures. With his reputation with Joint Venture partners as a trusted, knowledgeable, and committed partner has created a portfolio of new business for the next 5 years and continues to grow.
Sharon left school to study Hair & Beauty which was her childhood passion but at the age of 19 she decided to follow in her mother’s career which was accounting. Already having a knowledge of construction from her father she decided to work for a construction company in the accounts department.
Sharon joined the family business in 1999 bringing her background knowledge of accounting and office management support to Michael after working for a local large developer. With over 40 years of experience in the industry and working alongside Michael for 25 years Sharon has been instrumental in the Canham Group development, establishing long term financial strategy that ensures the continued growth of the businesses.
Sharon continues to support her brother in growing the Canham Group.
Joe graduated with a Business (Hons) degree from the University of the West of England. He went on to join Royal Bank of Scotland, within the financial markets, before moving into Residential Development. Joe initially joined Rydon Homes focusing on home county residential development before joining Rydon Construction. He spent the next 13 years focusing on large scale, residential estate regeneration in London, latterly as a Senior Development Manager. This included, successfully delivering several multi phased estate regeneration projects across South, West and East London. As part of a subsequent company buyout, Joe joined Real Places to continue leading on estate regeneration.
Joe has built a multi-disciplined experience from managing Joint Venture partnerships, leading on large scale planning applications, along with monitoring and managing project financials.
Joe joined Canham Homes in November 2023 to focus on strategic business operations, overseeing the development portfolio and associated Joint Ventures along with managing the financial forecasting for the business.
Alex joined the team as Sales & Marketing Manager in October 2023 and comes with almost 20 years’ experience in the property industry. She started her career as a Sales Administrator within the new homes estate agency side of the industry, and soon progressed her career to Sales Manager and Area Sales Director for a well-known new homes estate agent in Kent.
After many years of working on the estate agents’ side of the fence, Alex decided to take on a new challenge, with the opportunity to bring her skills and knowledge of new homes acquired over the years, working for a reputable local developer, and is looking forward to continuing her personal growth within the industry.
Upon earning a degree in Construction Engineer Management from Loughborough University, Anthony acquired extensive expertise in developments while serving in the Technical & Development department at Redrow Homes London. Following a fruitful 3-years, he transitioned to an SME developer in Kent to broaden his knowledge.
Subsequently, he assumed the role of Associate Development Director at Countryside Properties, overseeing significant and intricate projects from land acquisition and planning approval to construction completion.
Anthony’s comprehensive knowledge has played a pivotal role in contributing to Canham Homes’ growth, establishing it as a prominent SME developer in the South-east.
Kevin has an extensive background as a Solutions Architect in sales, marketing, and operations. Working for household names, such as BT and Xerox for many years. Kevin brought all his skills together and founded his own consultancy agency in 2009, focused on procurement, strategy, and business process. For over a decade his company worked directly with SMEs in the Southeast, in improving their internal processes and negotiating greater returns on marketing spend.
Kevin joined Canham Homes in November 2023 as Head of Commercial, working closely with Alex on enhancing the Canham Homes Brand and the customer experience.

At Canham Homes, we are proud of the partnerships we have established with landowners over the years.
I found Canham Homes a pleasure to deal with through the sale of my land to them. I quickly knew I had chosen the right company.
